In early 2008, YoNaturals began a trial in various Elementary schools throughout the nation. The goal was to provide a product “plan o gram” that met both parental and school faculty nutrition guidelines, and to convince the kids that our products actually meet their taste requirements.

This program has been more than successful and because of this YoNaturals is pleased to introduce the “Kids Zone” healthy vending machine, which vends only organic and natural foods and beverages.

The Vending Industry in the U.S. is currently a $35 billion a year industry and features almost 100% unhealthy products such as Coca Cola, Pepsi, Frito Lay and Mars. Most consumers are fully aware that these products are unhealthy; yet without any healthy options they are restricted as to what they consume. Combine this with the fact that childhood obesity and early onset diabetes in young adults are soaring, and it's easy to see why new legislation was created to eliminate junk food from school vending machines. Hospitals, health clubs, corporate environments and other traditional vending sites are quickly following the trend.
